Painting For Couple Bedroom As Per Vastu

A few years ago, I got married and we were shifting to our new house. In my quest to decorate the house, I was choosing paintings for the bedroom. Looking at the shops full of bright colors and modern artefacts, suddenly a thought came to my mind – “Should one choose paintings for the bedroom as per Vaastu?”

I had heard about Vastu Shastra since childhood. It is an ancient Indian Vaastu science, which promotes the flow of positive energy in the house. I thought that perhaps choosing paintings as per Vaastu for the bedroom would bring positive changes in our married life.

I talked to my husband about this. He was open to the idea, so we decided to consult a Vaastu expert. Meeting the expert was very helpful. He told us that the choice of painting in the bedroom is important not only from aesthetic point of view but also according to Vastu.

He told which paintings should be avoided in the bedroom and which paintings transmit positive energy. He also told which direction is suitable for applying paintings on the bedroom walls.

There were green hills below the painting, which gave a feeling of connection with nature.

Seeing this painting gave a different feeling of excitement in waking up in the morning. It seemed as if positive energy was circulating in the room.

North direction: Symbol of peace and love

North direction is considered a symbol of peace and love. So, we decided to put a painting of a couple on the north wall. This painting was of two swans, who were standing in front of each other and looking at each other lovingly. Swans are considered a symbol of loyalty and love. Seeing this painting brought a feeling of peace in the mind and a new sweet dimension seemed to be added to our relationship.

West direction: color of love and passion

West direction is considered the area of love and passion. So, we chose an abstract artwork made of light pink and purple colors on the west wall. This artwork helps in balancing the energies of love and passion, while also giving a romantic touch to the bedroom.

Which paintings should be avoided

The Vastu expert also told us which paintings should be avoided in the bedroom. He told that paintings with violent or sad scenes should not be hung in the bedroom. Such paintings transmit negative energy and can create tension in relationships. Similarly, pictures of a lonely person or wild animals are also not considered suitable for the bedroom.

Result: positive change

After choosing paintings as per Vaastu, we felt positive changes in our bedroom. Firstly, the atmosphere of the bedroom became calm and positive. Painting in the east direction filled us with energy as soon as we woke up in the morning and painting in the north direction calmed our mind before sleeping at night.

Additionally, we felt that there were positive changes in our relationship as well. We became more affectionate and understanding towards each other. The flow of positive energy in the bedroom probably strengthened our relationship.

This is just our experience and everyone may have their own opinion on Vaastu Shastra. But, this experience was very positive for us. Choosing painting as per Vaastu may be just a coincidence, but it not only made our bedroom beautiful but also filled it with positive energy.
